To boost the morale of the students, Dr. N. Shankara Adyanthaya Memorial English Medium High School held its Awards Day on 6th & 7th March 2024 in the school premises. It was a time to applaud and reward the students for their sincere efforts in scholastic and co-scholastic domain during the academic session 2023-24. The school honoured all its achievers for having attained a sterling record.

National Science Day

National Science Day is celebrated on 28th February each year to mark the discovery of the Raman Effect by the Indian physicist, Sir Chandrashekhara Venkata Raman. National Science Day spreads a notable message about the importance of science used in the daily life of the people. This event is a great platform for students to create awareness of Science and Technology.
In commemoration of National Science Day, the school organised a Science Exhibition which was inaugurated by Prof. Vasudeva Acharya, ISE Dept, NMAMIT. Students from Class 6 to 8 actively participated and displayed their creative models in Maths and Science.

Congratulations to our Twin Karate Champs

Anush Arun and Ayush Arun of Class 10 participated in the Karate Carnival "The Ultimate Martial Art Show and Noble World Records Official Attempt" organised by Shorin Ryu Karate Association, Moodabidri.
The twin brothers have created a Nobel World Record by 213 kicks to the punching bag and 1000 meter side kick in one minute.
We are very proud of our budding Karate Champs for their commendable achievements and we wish them all the best....

Students of Dr. N. Shankara Adyanthaya Memorial English Medium High School participated in the National Spell Bee Competition at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International School, Coimbatore.
Vivaan Amul Shetty, Yash Shenoy and Manvith M of Class 3 bagged 5th, 17th & 36th ranks respectively while Aarav of Class 4 secured the 41st rank. Nearly 100 finalists took part in this National Level Competition.

State Level National Spell Bee Competition

Our students participated in the State Level National Spell Bee Competition at Ashok International Public School, Bangalore. Manvith M, Vivaan Amul Shetty and Shenoy Yash Shreyas of Class 3 secured 3rd, 4th and 6th places respectively while Aarav of Class 4 secured the 16th place. Our students have qualified for the National Level and we wish them the very best.

Leadership Training Camp

A two-day workshop on 'Leadership' was conducted for the students of Class 10 by the Forum of Free Enterprise of M.R. Pai Foundation, Mumbai on 17th & 18th July 2023. Mr. Rajeev Kumar Luv & Ms. Clarissa Jathanna were the resource persons.
The main objective of the workshop was setting academic goals, study smart, effective communication, power of habits etc. Students made the best use of this workshop and shared their enriching experience....

Hridya Pran of Class 8, and Kyra Shaina D'Souza of Class 9, Dr. NSAM English Medium High School, Nitte, participated in the National Level Online Examination of Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan, India's Largest Science Talent Search for new India using digital devices and secured the first rank in the Udupi district.
The exam was organised by Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA) in association with the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT).

Just Poems

We congratulate Ramith Hegde of Class 6, Dr. NSAM English Medium High School, Nitte for bringing out his first poetry book "Just Poems".
Speaking about his collection of poems, he says that during pandemic he got ample time to pen down the poems. In addition to writing poems, he has written several short stories too.
We hope to see more of his literary works in the future....

We are proud to announce that the synopsis of Master Pratheek A. Shetty and Harshith H. Chowta was selected and they were the recipient of Rs.10,000/-each. After participating at the District Level INSPIRE Competition Pratheek A. Shetty has been shortlisted for the National Level INSPIRE Competition.

Kannada Rajyotsava was observed on November 1st, 2019.
On this occasion, a special assembly was organized. The program began by paying tribute to Kannada Nadu through Nada Geethe. A few students gave a meaningful talk on the importance of celebrating Kannada Rajyotsava. Students of Class 6 melodiously sang 'Ravi Moodi Banda'. The assembly ended with the National Anthem.

Prem U Rao, Divin R. & Srinivas Pai of Class 10 bagged the 1st place for their working model titled - Portable Heart Defibrillator.
Rashmitha R Bangera, Ambika Jayashanthi and Sharanya Kundar of Class 10 secured the 1st place for their model "Go Green" under non-working category.
