Niveus Mangalore Marathon 2024

Students of Dr. NSAM English Medium High School participated in the Niveus Mangalore Marathon 2024 held at Mangala Stadium, Mangalore on 10th November 2024.
Rakshath and Jesta of Class 9 bagged the First place; Stuti of Class 9 and Khushi J Shetty of Class 7 bagged the Second place and Rashabh of Class 9 won the Third place under 5KM category.

RYAN MINITHON-2024

Students of Dr. NSAM English Medium High School participated in the RYAN MINITHON-2024 organised by Ryan International Sports Club on 9th November 2024.
Under the 14 years category (3 Km), Varshith of Class 8 bagged the First place, Drishan & Khushi J Shetty of Class 7 bagged the Fourth place and Adithi of Class 7 bagged the 5th place.
Under the 16 years category (5 Km), Rakshath and Stuti of Class 9 bagged the First place; Jesta, Bhavish and Swathik of Class 9 secured bagged the 2nd, 3rd & 4th place respectively.
By securing the highest points, our school clinched the overall championship. Nearly 314 athletes from Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts...

Students of Dr. NSAM English Medium High School participated in the Udupi District Level AICS Basketball Tournament organised by Sharada Residential School, Kunjibettu, Udupi on 9th November 2024.
High School girls emerged as winners and Higher Primary girls were the second runners up.
Kashish of Class 10 received the Best Player Award and Nidhi of Class 9 bagged the Best Shooter Award.

Dr. N. S.A.M. English Medium High school observed Gandhi Jayanthi on October 1st, 2024.
The program started with a prayer. Our Principal Mrs. Radha Prabhu spoke on ideals of Gandhiji and encouraged students to inculcate these values.
A small cultural show was put up by the students. The programme ended with a vote of thanks....

Our Junior Girls team under 14 emerged as Winners and Senior Girls team under 17 emerged as Runner up. Swasthishree of Class 8 bagged the Best Strikers Award under Junior category. Sujeeksha of Class 10 bagged the Best Strikers Award under Senior category.

The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the auspicious lamp of knowledge. The newly elected Prefectorial Board were conferred with their responsibilities. National Science Day

National Science Day is celebrated on 28th February each year to mark the discovery of the Raman Effect by the Indian physicist, Sir Chandrashekhara Venkata Raman. National Science Day spreads a notable message about the importance of science used in the daily life of the people. This event is a great platform for students to create awareness of Science and Technology.

Anush Arun and Ayush Arun of Class 10 participated in the Karate Carnival "The Ultimate Martial Art Show and Noble World Records Official Attempt" organised by Shorin Ryu Karate Association, Moodabidri.
The twin brothers have created a Nobel World Record by 213 kicks to the punching bag and 1000 meter side kick in one minute.

Vivaan Amul Shetty, Yash Shenoy and Manvith M of Class 3 bagged 5th, 17th & 36th ranks respectively while Aarav of Class 4 secured the 41st rank. Nearly 100 finalists took part in this National Level Competition.

State Level National Spell Bee Competition

Our students participated in the State Level National Spell Bee Competition at Ashok International Public School, Bangalore. Manvith M, Vivaan Amul Shetty and Shenoy Yash Shreyas of Class 3 secured 3rd, 4th and 6th places respectively while Aarav of Class 4 secured the 16th place. Our students have qualified for the National Level and we wish them the very best.

Leadership Training Camp

A two-day workshop on 'Leadership' was conducted for the students of Class 10 by the Forum of Free Enterprise of M.R. Pai Foundation, Mumbai on 17th & 18th July 2023. Mr. Rajeev Kumar Luv & Ms. Clarissa Jathanna were the resource persons.
The main objective of the workshop was setting academic goals, study smart, effective communication, power of habits etc. Students made the best use of this workshop and shared their enriching experience....

Just Poems

We congratulate Ramith Hegde of Class 6, Dr. NSAM English Medium High School, Nitte for bringing out his first poetry book "Just Poems".
Speaking about his collection of poems, he says that during pandemic he got ample time to pen down the poems. In addition to writing poems, he has written several short stories too.

Kannada Rajyotsava was observed on November 1st, 2019.
On this occasion, a special assembly was organized. The program began by paying tribute to Kannada Nadu through Nada Geethe. A few students gave a meaningful talk on the importance of celebrating Kannada Rajyotsava. Students of Class 6 melodiously sang 'Ravi Moodi Banda'. The assembly ended with the National Anthem.
